About Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and
improve function. This is done by inserting sterilized, stainless-steel needles
(that are as fine as a human hair) into specific points located near or on the
surface of the skin. Acupuncture treats the body holistically and is effective
for many chronic and acute conditions. It can also maintain good health and
balance in order to prevent illnesses from occurring. Treatments can include
acupuncture, herbal supplements, dietary therapy, therapeutic massage and
exercise therapy. Acupuncture can work in conjunction with western medicine
treatment. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine have a history that is thousands of
years old and have been used to treat literally billions of people. These
techniques have withstood the test of time.
Common Conditions Treated with Acupuncture: headache, neck
& back pain, women’s health issues, infertility, stress & insomnia,
digestive problems, joint pain arthritis, asthma, menopause, Alzheimer's,
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, fibromyalgia, sports injuries.
